Sony Pictures have recently acquired "Southland Tales”. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson along with Kevin Smith and Sarah Michelle-Gellar star in the movie, however there have been a few problems finding a distribution deal after poor reviews at the Cannes Film Festival last year. No timetable has been scheduled for the film’s release.

Speaking of The Rock, he recently hosted the Taurus Stunt Awards Sunday in Los Angeles. The Rock crashed a truck through a wall as part of the opening of the show. The show will be airing on May 25th at 10.30pm Eastern on A&E.
