DARK MATCH

- Chuck Palumbo def Daivari

SMACKDOWN

- MVP beat Matt Hardy. Good match. Afterwards, MVP cut a promo saying he’d win the U.S belt this Sunday at Judgment Day.

- Paul London, Brian Kendrick & Jimmy Wang Yang beat WWE Cruiserweight Champ Chavo Guerrero and Tag Team champions Deuce & Domino after Yang hit Guerrero with a moonsault and got the pin. This was also good, but the crowd wasn’t overly into it.

- U.S Champion Chris Benoit beat Finlay by DQ when MVP ran in as Benoit had Finlay in the Crossface.

- Mark Henry pinned Funaki. Squash.

- They did a promo backstage with Ozzy Osbourne, who performed live on the show. Jillian Hall tried to talk to him, but he ignored her and walked off. Big pop for Ozzy, who was then introduced by Ashley Massaro to the crowd, and he did his new song live.

- The Miz beat Christian York.

- The Teddy Long-Kristal-Vickie Guerrero stuff continued. Vickie appeared and they had a chat, with the outcome being that Long agreed to interview her for the GM’s assistant job.

- Kane beat William Regal. Nothing special at all. The Boogeyman, Little Boogeyman and Dave Taylor were all at ringside for this one.

- Teddy Long introduced Edge. He cut a good promo before Batista came out, and said he’d win the title at Judgment Day. THAT was the main event? People near me were expecting a match. It may come off ok on TV I guess, but live, the ending of the taping was pretty poor.
